Letter to Ed from Dave Lugar

Dear Ed,

Thank you for contacting me with the news that John Kenson was sick. Without that call I may have never been able to talk to him before he passed. I was very sad to hear that you too had been sick. You brought back so many memories of the backpacking gang and all the adventures we went on. It’s funny how many memories come back with just a few phone conversations. Talking about the friendships we all had together really hit home with me. That’s why it’s so very hard to write this letter. I may have to say goodbye for now but it’s these memories and the new memories we have every day that keep us going. Goodbye for now Eddy, you will never be forgotten.
